Nutrition and exercise are Kristen’s passions and she has had an interest since she was a young child.She attended West Chester University where she earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, a minor in Health Sciences, and a strong concentration in Kinesiology.She completed her graduate dietetic internship at the University of Delaware.Upon completion of this year-long internship she became board certified as a Registered Dietitian (RD).She then worked with an Endocrinologist as an RD for Abington Corporate Health.Some of the responsibilities she had included specializing in diabetes and weight management.She conducted group educational and behavioral classes in addition to working one-on-one with individual patients, which she found most rewarding.Recently, Kristen has worked for a large weight loss company as a specialized consultant for various counselors around the United States.

 

Kristen emphasizes sound nutrition and exercise principles, grounded in the latest research, that address all aspects of health and wellness. At LC Wellness & Spa, she utilizes cutting edge health and athletic assessment tools in order to design, implement and optimize individual nutrition and exercise programs for each patient based on their personal goals.

 

She believes that health and well-being extend beyond traditional medical treatment and typical gym or weight loss programs. The nutrition programs incorporate pharmaceutical grade supplements that further fine tune all health, weight loss and athletic training programs based on individual need. She believes this attention to detail aids in the achievement and success of her patient’s.
